Rectal Smegma

Rectal Smegma was initially formed in 2003 by four guys from the west of The Netherlands, who set out to create brutal gore grind with lots of groove, blastbeats and a humoristic party vibe all over.

The band has undergone some member changes for guitar and bass throughout their existence but has started 2015 with their latest and strongest line-up, and also drunker than ever. The music has undergone some changes in the meantime as well, evolving from Neanderthal porn gore grind to fast aggressive blasting goregrind with loads of groovy death metal and even some hints of punk. There are now five full length records released plus several split albums.

Over the years Rectal Smegma has done several tours in Europe, Mexico, Japan and South America, as well as great festivals like Wacken Open Air, Hellfest, Summer Breeze, PartySan, Obscene Extreme and many, many more. New material for the next full length is in the works, and the band is ready to hit the road.

Pigs

Pigs is een uit de modder getrokken energieke Metal Band. De band heeft zijn roots liggen onder de rook van  Rotterdam. Een stad die bekend staat om zijn directheid, hard werken en vooral niet lullen, maar doen! De band heeft een dubbelzinnige lading. Deze dubbelzinnigheid wordt ook in hun muziek en teksten verwerkt. Pigs speelt een mix van Trash/Death Metal, Hardcore met een Punky attitude. Er worden zowel serieuze als humoristische teksten gebruikt, echt uit het leven gegrepen. We hebben nu een compleet album met 12 nummers om de studio in te duiken. Ergens in de zomer van 2024.

Melting Eyes

BIO MELTING EYES:

The history of Melting Eyes goes back to Feb. 2017 when Ben Ubert guitar (ex deathhammer & Warmaster) and Marc vd Meer drums (ex Compos Mentis NLD) decided to start an old school deathmetal band.

Within a short time Angelo Verlaan (ex Winterfell, GAOS and many more) joined them on bass. After ¾ year rehearsing and writing songs Pier Segaar (guitar in The Impaler, ex Constant Paranoia) joined the band on vocals. After a while he brought his guitar with him and started to do the vocals and guitar.

After a while the first gig came at the “Westland Metal meeting” which was quite a succesfull gig with lots of great feedback. More gigs came for Melting Eyes and shared stages with bands like: Malevolent creation – Mortiferum – Witch Vomit – Gruesome – Nervochaos – Graceless and many more. Those gigs took place in local area Den Haag, Leiden, Westland and more places in Holland.

Melting Eyes decided to enter the studio in Nov. 2020. This will be their debut EP which contains six tracks of evil fucking old school deathmetal that will be released Aug 1 2021.

January 1st 2022, Angelo decided that he would stop playing bass in Melting Eyes. In the end, it didn’t take long for us to find a new bass player. His name is Patrick van Zeijl and has played with Marc in Compos Mentis from 1991 till 1995. In 1999 Patrick formed Old school death metal band Disconsolate as vocals and Guitar. Melting Eyes is complete again.
