De maand oktober presenteren we Bottled Waves uit Den Haag (Alternatieve rock) en The Dethleffs uit Gouda (rock, pop, blues en grunge).
Bottled Waves emerges as a dynamic force in the alternative rock scene, rooted in the Dutch hub of creativity, The Hague.
Imagine the spirit of Oasis colliding with the raw energy of The Smashing Pumpkins within the intimate ambiance of an indie bar. Their sound is a testament to their versatility, capturing the essence of their varying influences to make something refreshingly original yet undeniably familiar. From catchy melodies with edgy riffs and thoughtful lyrics, Bottled Waves delivers a diverse yet captivating sonic experience.
Having kicked off the new year 2024 with a show at Pinguin Radio Showcases during ESNS in Groningen, they aim to take over the stages of the Netherlands. And they keep their promise: club shows and festivals keep on filling their agenda. Currently focusing on releasing two new songs, they still work on new material that they present to their audience.
The Dethleffs is een rocktrio uit de regio Rotterdam/Gouda dat rock, blues, pop en grunge combineert tot aanstekelijke, groovy nummers. De band is ontstaan in de duistere tijden van de coronapandemie, waarin de bandleden hun krachten bundelden.
Dit resulteerde in de release van enkele nummers in November 2022 en een toertje langs wat podia en festivals. Begin 2024 zijn er enkele nieuwe songs aan toegevoegd, waarmee de EP ‘Last Chance’ compleet is. Last Chance is opgenomen bij Raiko Records en uitgebracht in Juni 2024. De titel laat zich gemakkelijk vertalen, maar is natuurlijk voor iedereen individueel interpretabel. Met deze EP onder de arm en een videoclip in de maak is de band klaar voor een nieuwe tour langs festivals en podia.
The Dethleffs speelt rock voor je raap, klinkt als Danko Jones meets Triggerfinger in de Soundgarden.
